The Robin is one of my all-time favorite birds. I really love birds that have bright splashes of red and orange coloring like the English Robin, the American Robin and male Cardinal birds too.

Birds with these bright red colors are just perfect to add into your Holiday crafts because their beautiful shades match the traditional colors of the season. That's why I based this particular card making project on my favorite.
There is a free printable template included with the tutorial so that you don't need to draw out your very own bird design. It is made very easily in just 3 parts with the bird body, the red chest and the wings.
If you make a quick pattern template, using the printable as I suggest, you can draw around the bird design as many times as you like to make bigger batches of cards.
Use colored papers and cards to build up your 3 piece Robin design or white and color it in yourself. The design really works best when placed in the center of square card blanks.

➡️ MAKE this Christmas Holiday Wreath Card Design
This homemade Christmas card idea is one that is appropriate for you to make for any age group or gender. The Holiday wreath card design is a traditional one and easy to create too.
You can see that I've made the finished wreath design look more traditional by sticking to the standard festive colors and designs with the choice of papers used.
There is no reason, though, why you cannot make this card design in any color scheme that you like. Why not try try lime green and orange or, alternatively, try lilac and pastel blue for more of a modern and fresh take on this seasonal theme.
Each central wreath is made from just eight squares of paper that have been folded using very basic origami techniques.
Adults can follow the tutorial for this which takes you through step by step photos of folding the paper pieces and assembling them to create the round wreath design. Simply stick this into the middle of a square card blank which has been decorated with some patterned paper.
As an optional extra, I've added on some round quilled papers in red to the wreath and this looks like holly berries. On other cards that I've made using this design, I've added on a big red bow.
4: Handmade Christmas Cracker Card Idea

I don't yet have a tutorial on this Christmas cracker card design. But, you know what, it is super easy for you to make as a DIY project. All you really need to be able to do is to draw a rectangle design. If you can do that then you will find this a fun and easy project.
If you draw or print a cracker shaped design onto card, then you'll have a template that you can draw around and use again and again. Having some simple templates can make creating lots of Christmas cards from home very easy and fast. Batch making is essential when you have a lot of cards to make.
Long or rectangular shaped card blanks seem to work best with this Christmas cracker theme. Use a card blank to work out a rough size that your cracker shape needs to be. There's no point in making a cracker design and then realizing that it's too big to fit on the card or that it's far too small.
I used a ruler to draw out a rectangle shape onto some card and then I cut this out when I got to a size that I was happy with.
Place your rectangle template so that it is lying horizontally or long ways in front of you. Draw a line with a ruler about 1/4 of the way in from the left and about 1/4 of the way in from the right. You need to use these lines as a guide for drawing some triangle notches and then cutting them out.
Look at the completed cracker shape to see what I'm referring to. Those little triangular notches make the rough shape of your cracker. Once you've done that, you've then got your template that you can draw around as many times as you need.
Use your cracker template to create lots of designs from colored card. You can quickly cover them in Christmas themed papers. I've added small ribbon bows in the middle of mine.
To make the fancy edges at the ends of the crackers, I used scalloped edged scissors. And then I used Word for Windows to print off the text: Have a Cracking Christmas.
